Everyday and office wear
Soft cotton and handloom sarees in muted tones are comfortable, easy to maintain and look professional. Pair them with a simple blouse, a small bag and minimal jewellery.
Festive gatherings
For Eid, Puja or family events, choose richer fabrics such as silk, georgette or jamdani. A contrast blouse in a bold colour adds personality, and a statement pair of earrings is often all you need.
Weddings
Heavier weaves with zari or embroidered borders are traditional favourites. Select a blouse with a neckline and sleeve length that you feel comfortable in for the whole day, and wear a petticoat that matches the saree shade.
Draping tips
